Brake calliper colour change
Really starting to dislike the blue - it doesn’t go with anything on a HS car, so looking to change.
Had my mind set on a pale gold as I think it compliments the different shades of HS, but also like red and silver. Just after some thoughts and ideas... Cheers. |

I really like red because it goes with alot of colors, silver wouldn't be optimal for me since you have HS so it would be too similar and blend in too much and not offer enough contrast and thus make it look bland. Gold is pretty nice but I think it's too loud for me personally.
Overall I would go red unless you plan on heavy track use because red will turn dark brown due to heat.

For a street car I'd still go with a caliper color that's a darker shade so they don't show brake dust as much. I've had yellow and they were a nightmare to keep clean. Just a few miles of driving and brake dust was visible. |

Silver tarnishes with heat, it starts to look grey black. Any painted Caliper will change color if you drive it hard enough to put a significant amount of heat into the brakes.

I personally like it when calipers are painted the same as the exterior color of the car

for anyone that has changed the color of their brakes, what was the method? I'm hesitant in powder-coating since it would require the brakes to be rebuilt.

Side note: I dislike red, too common. Brembo gold, Lime Green, or Yellow gets my vote. |

I've always loved red and I absolutely love how they came out on my car.

I'd like to get rid of the faded blue color, but I figure if I paint it it'll just fade again. |
