Salt sticking to car
This seems strange. Never had a car that looked like this after a little salt. I do have her ceramic coated. I'm thinking it's the reason why the sticking is happening or the ceramic coat wasn't applied well.
Any insight? |

I'm running 235/265 winters without any salt problems. But in all seriousness I've heard that salt will "stick" on ceramic more than non-coated (or at least appear to) but it should wash off more easily. How does it look after pouring a bit of clean water on it? |

Depending what ceramic coat you have, it can either sheet water or bead. The Crystal Serum Ultra can do either depending on whether you choose the added beading layer (EXO I think?).
The salt bath of Chicago roads (and looks like NY too) is miserable regardless, but always wondered which would do better/worse in Winter beading or sheeting. Maybe the opposite of what you have My coated M2c hasn't seen enough salt to really know... |

Salt/Sand/Slush Dirt is my worst nightmare for a weekend car, and unless you have a really fancy indoor washing station which includes an underbody wash attachment, there's no way to wash it off until the weather gets warmer. |

I see nothing odd about this. Just rinse it off.

If the staining its returning as it dries then it sounds like the surface it's marked. Give it all (or just a panel) a wash with warm water, car shampoo and a decent wash mitt. Rinse and dry and see what happens. We have loads of road salt in the UK, never had staining from it. |

If washing doesn’t get the salt off use 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Let it dwell for a minute, should wipe right off. Just make sure to rinse it thoroughly afterwards with water.
