So, why is it taking BMW so long to release M2cs USA Pricing and Allocation?
This is actually starting to seriously annoy me!
What's the reason? Are Sales in ROW Countries not going so well? Are they still trying to figure out ROW Country demand? I would have expected by now for this information to be out so that people who are interested or on the fence can figure it out! Assuming orders are in January with March 2020 being start of production. |

I know how you feel...
They will probably announce it in January at this rate. From BMW's perspective, the holidays are tough to announce something as it will be overshadowed. Now do it in January while everyone is fresh and there are not that many car news, well, that's more free marketing for them as everyone will be talking about it for weeks.

M4 CS runs until feb I believe. In the next 6 months they will probably get another M4 or two and then their M2 CS allocation(s) will come in. When the loaded M2 CS hits the floor with a markup , they will be able to sell off their M4 and will probably do so to customers looking for the M2 CS. With 20k off an M4 CS .... or simply far better lease rates, the M2 again will be used to step customers over to an M4. I think this is spot on from your post in another thread M3 Adjuster! Could it be they are dragging their feet on Pricing because M4cs is in production till Feb 2020 and they are basically sitting at dealership lots? I know there are about 7 of them at the 3 local dealerships to me within 40 miles of each other. |

There are about 340 BMW dealers in the US. If the 500 number is to believed for the M2 CS then each dealer may only get one or two allocations. Some may get none.
It looks like they built too many M4 CS. I for one would not be interested in an M4 because it is way too big. Plus the G Series M4 is getting that grille. In a market shift towards SUVs and crossovers, I'm not surprised the M4 CS is not selling without a big discount. I think the lower price of the M2 CS plus limited availability should help it. Plus the M2 seems more popular than M4. I would think most M2 CS would be customer orders for the limited allocations per dealer. I doubt there will be many on the lots. |

Also I have a feeling the reviews of the M2 CS are going to be good. Supposedly it was developed alongside the M2 CS Racing.
The reviews of the M4 CS were disappointing and meh. One article said the M4 CS was not the best M4 just the last. |

I just hope it's priced under $80K....if so, it will do very well IMHO. However, if it is going to approach $90K.....I think many will pass on it. Again, maybe that's why BMW is stalling a bit in Pricing and Allocation? They are still figuring it out based on international demand and acceptance. Almost feel like USA is just going to pick up whatever slack ROW doesn't pick-up 🤔 |

The width is the same as an M4, however, the length is where they're vastly apart.
