New Seats!!

Thanks to ebisu8 I have a set of M2C seats to put into my 17M2.

Now as much as I hate to be "that" person, I believe that there is a pretty detailed post or video that shows how to transfer the computer box and other goodies to make the seat compatible.

Maybe it's my old age, but I'll be darned if I can find it. And yes, I know how to use the search buttons.

Any help I can receive would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the boxes are just a case of unplug from the old seat, clip into the new seat and then install the seat. TBH, figuring out how to undo the locking mechanism for the connectors is the hardest part...

You might want to change over the seatbelt buckle pre-tensioners too.

Haha yes on the connectors. You can depress the small locking tab with a flat electrical screwdriver, then use a trim tool in a twisting motion to gently pry the plastic looped tab on the connector away. I broke one being impatient but they still lock in with the tab.

It will make sense when you see it!

FWIW, I didn't do this when I swapped my M2C seats in - just the seat modules

I have to. He kept them for his car.

I don't think it's too difficult from what I've seen and read.

Looks great. This is really the only thing I think the OG shoulda had and had I bought an OG I woulda tried to track down. Completely transforms the interior of the car.
