KW Clubsport 3-way coilovers for BMW M2

Fichtenberg (Germany), March 9th 2016 – The new BMW M2 is designed for uncompromising driving dynamics and it sets new standards in the compact sports car segment. The KW Clubsport 3-way will be available directly with the market launch of the BMW M2. With its KW race sport spring system, the KW high performance dampers and adjustable KW top mounts, the Clubsport 3-way coilover is the consistent implementation of the successful KW Competition technology from the international motorsport. It is based on the expertise of the suspension manufacturer in the equipment of numerous BMW race cars such as the BMW Z4 GT3 or the BMW M235i Racing from the Endurance Cup. In addition to the "Track-Setup" and "Street-Setup", further setups can be selected by the Clubsport dampers that are independently adjustable rebound damping as well as high-speed and low-speed compression damping in order to adjust the driving behavior of the BMW M2 individually to the respective driving demand. The KW Clubsport 3-way coilover suspension also allows to adapt the BMW M2 to any Trackday profile as well as a continuous lowering of up to 45 mm.

We'll have more info on these in the coming months.

These are the clubsports. More of a track oriented coilover. I think the BMW coils are the regular KW v3.

Who is willing to bet that they aren't hardly any different from the V1/2/3's they currently produce for the 2/3/4er's? Lol

Yes.

Currently it appears that KW is the OEM for M performance suspension

KW also does the upgraded performance suspension (coilovers) for MINI as well. KW pretty much handles the performance upgrades for BMWAG. A nice little account to have for KW.

Kw has lost my support. I have seen way too many of their setups break...don't advertise your product as a track oriented system then not cover broken parts under warranty because it wasn't on the street.

No experience with KW or any aftermarket coilover but that's a common complaint I see when I read posts on KW products from various forums. It leaks, customer files complaint and KW responds that it's "abuse" because customer tracks their car. Pretty unfortunate.

Ive had many different systems, but I have had the worst experience with KW. You are really buying a product that will only last you a couple days at the track if that. I would go with TC Kline, or BC Racing, or JRZ. My boss is sponsored by BC and they held up beautifully through 6 hours of Buttonwillow and 25 Hours of Thunderhill.

In my mind, they don't ! Not even close.

I've had a friend who has KW v3 shortly and he didn't keep them long. I've never been that impressed so far and would absolutely go for Ohlins or JRZ although I bet they are double the price.

Those last two options probably compare more directly to the KW Clubsports not the V3 lineup.

JRZ won't last very long either but they are much higher performance and you will have good support.
