Can anyone of the "confirmed" MY16 customer check what is their cars status and production week estimated/confirmed? I have a print screen of the BMW order system and would like to compare my order. It will be really appreciated. Thanks!

1 for all of Manitoba?!? That's nuts!! Halifax is getting at least 3, Moncton has 4 confirmed for 2016...

Seems odd to have that few in such a big town. Hard to confirm info from your SA though. My suggestion would be to talk to GM in person, but you might not be able to.

I am not worried about my order.I have been buying cars from my Toronto BMW dealer for the last 20 years.I don't need to bug my dealer,when I am sure that what they are telling me is true and my production month will be May.

I called BMW Canada again today because twboy1999 said that he now has his VIN and I wanted to get my VIN,so I can follow the production status of my car.BMW Canada will give you the VIN if it is in there system.

I would be shocked if the only BMW dealer in Manitoba (which is notably bigger than NS in population) gets only 1. An out of town buyer? Hmmm...

I'm not suggesting anything underhanded but sounds... well... unusual...

Get a friend to call in and ask, make sure he/she seems willing to pay above MSRP and maybe they'll spill the beans to him/her

Could be that some dealers are trying to figure out how to maximize their profits with all this demand for the M2... so answers are vague and sometimes contradictory between dealers, until they figure it out.

Maybe I am just too cynical. But sure is strange that a well established brand like BMW has such confusion on a major launch.

I got the VIN from my SA

I been following the HOW TO TRACK Cdn production car threads.

apparently if I have the VIN and it show up on BMWVIN site, it means the car is done?

Called BMW Canada 2 mins ago, still no VIN. Status is still 111. She said to call in a couple of weeks to see if anything has changed.

Sales manager did tell me that my car wouldn't be produced until much closer to the M tour date, sometime mid May build, car will still be a MY2016.

So I had someone on my staff call every dealership in the GTA and BMW Autohaus said they can promise a mid July delivery.

But i don't know if I can trust them.
