M Performance coilovers - best price?

Any tips where to get best price for MP coils?

I can get 20% discount through my local dealership on all parts and will inquire tomorrow but want to do my homework beforehand.

Thanks

Try finding like minded owners local to you and get a bulk discount. This is what I did and got a great deal for M Perf c/overs supplied and fitted.

Sun Motors BMW. They always have the cheapest price on OEM parts.

Here is their eBay post: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M2-M-PE...from=R40&rt=nc

Give sun motors a call, I've gotten a lower quote from Brian Keller over the phone than the price listed on eBay. However, I opted for kw v3's instead as I found them new for the same price.

What are the difference between these and the KW's. I know they are made by KW and come a BMW warranty? Are they equivalent to the V3's?

Yes.

AFAIK damper bodies are similar and differences are in the spring rates and heights. Yellow KW springs are stiffer and go lower than the red KW springs in OEM MPerf kit.

Any clearance issues with OEM wheels when lowered with MP coil-overs?

I know oem wheels require spacers when lowered with Eibach springs.

Sun Motors for sure. My husband has ordered many parts from them lately for his M2. Great pricing, same day shipping and it arrived within 2 days (Fedex). They always require adult signature BTW.

Yeah BMW warranty is the big one.

My shock started leaking and my dealership replaced it no problem (although they also installed it - I think that's part of the condition to be able to apply the warranty).

I'd imagine KW would have their own warranty too? Not sure about this. But you'd be on the hook for labor to replace the part I'd imagine.

I wonder if we can install other springs on them by KW or Hyperco etc.

Question, so are they Equivalent to V3 or re-branded V3's? I want to be clear on this.

If they are almost the same price as KW, why would anyone still buy the KW branded ones?
