POWERFLEX bushes

It’s a well known mod, but can’t find some reviews from it on the M2
People out here with experience on the M2?

Be a man, go for all solid Monoballs instead

I see you are in Australia - any M car forums talk much about K-Mac adjustable camber and caster front lower arm bushes ?

If so what's the feedback ?

TIA

Powerflex Differential Race inserts are in - install is better than full bushing replacements but still took 3 shop hours as the rear subframe needed to be dropped. You can't back out the rear diff bolt with the rear subframe still bolted up. Front inserts fit fine but rear inserts only provides average fitment as the inserts don't cup over the OEM bushing too well. However, the rear end is definitely more solid in terms of putting down power. Combined with transmission mounts when shifting under load it does reduce deflection so it does give more confident shifting under all conditions. No NVH issues at the moment.

I have not experienced any comments about K-Mac specifically for our cars.

With camber plates I am sure you know there is already a very wide selection available and based upon what type of coilovers you have will affect your choice. As far as camber plate bearings are concerned they also come with anything from OEM rubber, polly or monoball; depending on how hardcore you want to get.

Concerning the FCAB’s and the OP specifically asks about Powerflex bushings I would advise extreme caution in this location. Please see what can happen HERE. Even though it is for a different platform, these monoballs are available for the M2 also.

I would agree with polly bushes for the diff, as solid mounts can substantially increase NVH in this area.

Everywhere else for me it is solid spherical monoballs all the way. You can see the pics of my install HERE. Again all of which are also available for the M2 platform.
