Take a minute and make sure everything on the side near the car is leaning away enough, or secured in place. I learned this the hard way with my Mazda, a ladder in the garage that I thought was secure and it ended up putting a nice dent in the front fender. I won't make that mistake again. And your car is much nicer too!

I just recently cleaned up my garage fit for the M2 :-). Matched the interior paint of my house, Put new flooring and metal storage and cabinets. It was a total of 4 days of hardship but I would like to think I save some cash doing it myself.

i'm about to do something like this for my m2 competition, but it looks a bit daunting. not going to do as much as u did. Just paint the walls, get some ceiling storage, and maybe flooring for now. how much did you pay for the flooring? that's only the start of a few questions i have? |

I did my research and end up with Bigfloors.com - The prices was good and they have a variety of choices. They also have an area where you can design and figure what you need. You can PM me for other questions. |

Here's a couple pics of our garage. Please forgive the mess. We are in the process of designing a proper garage - flooring, cabinets, overhead and wall lighting for detailing, built-in deionizer, and built-in air compressor hose around the perimeter! Can't wait - the mess is driving me insane!
Wife's X6M is dirty, too - apologies. Funny story - only reason we ended up with an M version of the X6 is because she liked the carbon fibre interior trim, seats, and wheels better than the other X6 versions. Who was I to argue??? My wife loves the M2C - sometimes we are playing rock, papers, scissors to see who gets to take it to work, haha. She is a great driver - she heels and toes extremely well! Her first reaction to the M2C? She looks at the exhaust hanging in the back......."I think your new car has a prolapsed rectum".

A while back I posted a picture of the garage / man cave / home office at our home in Texas with my M3 and C63S inside. Well the C63S is now up in Minneapolis for my daily, and I just took delivery of the M2 - so here's an update of the garage and stable.

Love looking through these threads! Gives me many garage decoration ideas. Thinking about painting giant M stripes on one of the walls.
I really want a garage, but I'm constrained to an apartment complex parking lot for the time being. Anytime I wash my car it's dirty the next day; 1st world problems I guess. |
