Same gearbox and Drivelogic, you are just missing the button to individually select the mode. So nothing unexpected.

I wonder why the garage opener is US only thing, I would also like to have that.

I recall an after-market BMW rear view camera retrofit was available? I would need it, because that executive package price is ridiculous. Backup camera should be standard or a stand-alone $200 option.

I think the package is at a nice price, you are so spoiled in the US!
It would be easier to just get the package though as the camera costs $600.

Not spoiled. I just don't want or need any of the other "stuff" in the package.

Oh ok... so you can preset sport and sport+ or whatever, so it's like having an M button. Kinda.

I think if this pricing is legit, this is awesome. Fully loaded M2 is $57,395 US.

ED is $54,810 - not much more than my M235i, but I suspect my M235i still leases way better, especially if dealers will not discount ED like other models.

Yea it won't lease well with no discount off MSRP. Full loaded your looking at $860 a month, 0 due at signing, 7% tax.

m235i with the same options msrp is actually more money (if you add the LSD) and you can't even get 19" wheels.

what a deal.

My current lease isn't up until mid 2017 so I guess we will see how things lay around that time. If BMW increases production, it may help that situation.

Very nice! I'm glad to see BMW isn't raking it's customers over the coals on options like Porsche.

Nicely equipped in LBB/BSM/MG for $52,250 (plus destination).

Fully loaded with MT for $53,500 (plus destination).

Vehicles will start to retail in April of 2016.
MSRP: $51,700 (+ $995 D&H)
The only options available for the 2016MY are:

Not a deal breaker, but disappointing. Maybe a sunroof is standard like my old e36 m3?

But I am actually happy with everything. Could've been a lot worse IMO

A very short list of options for a BMW. For this car to do a sub 8 minute lap at the ring without a wretched excess of power it has to have incredible grip. I bet its suspension is on the stiff side. With only one drive mode, this is going to be one very active car. Sure you can DD, but it is going to be a waste to not take this car to the track.

That is actually quite good. A bit more expensive than the Audi S3, but more performance.

The exec pack is actually pretty reasonable for what you get.
