Yes you can, however I just did that and I got bumped 4 weeks by changing from cup2 to PSS.

You can still make changes at the beginning of status 150 too, I changed the color and a wheels on mine then.

Mine has been at the port for over a week now, so either its really the first one for the USA and I'm waiting for all of you! or its on a boat and they aren't updating it..and it will just show up

So are we thinking first ship with M2 CSs for the US is leaving this week some time? Wondering how this group will come together. So far I think we have one at port and two that say complete awaiting transfer.

Ha! Me too. I literally checked at 5:50 CST a.m. this morning and it was "Quality Checks" and I checked again just now and it was at Carrier Assignment.

Where were you looking at which boats were available etc? My order sheet had said mine was headed to Boston, so I'm curious which carriers are headed there.

I posted a link to a thread a few posts back. Scroll down and it explains the entire process. Also includes links to shipping carriers and links to get to their schedules. Also gives sites for tracking the ships. It takes a bit of legwork. I suspect mine would be on schedule for a ship leaving between 22 and 24 but maybe that's optimistic.

Gotchya, I had seen that thread before and hadn't caught the full listing of ships and the guesswork before. We'll see if I end up with enough time to chase out ship options or if I just wait until it's on the water to determine which boat.

I just confirmed with Genius my car was pushed out to week 46 from week 41 dues to a tire change. I let them know how disappointed I was with the result from simply changing from cup to to PSS tires. BMW really has ruined this whole experience for me by delivering these cars mid winter. Can't do PCD easily and can't really have the cup 2 tires because of BMW and now because I had to make changes I get to wait an additional 5 weeks???

I also initially ordered Cup2, and then changed my mind within a few days. I didn't get my anticipated production week until after that change, and now I can't help but wonder what could have been.

Sorry, missed this. Did it through my CA, they then requested it from BMW AG who made the changes. When I hopped on my allocation it was already status 150. Changed exterior color, wheels and tires, the transmission was the only thing that didn't change.

Just learned that none of the cars come into charleston from this area. Only cars leaving go through charleston. Arrivals come in through port jersey, port baltimore, or port brunswick.

I think the ships stop in Baltimore 1st. Here's hoping we get on the Honor leaving Thursday. Otherwise I believe the next available ships will push another week.

Any one else that was at port get on a boat?
