How accurate are the HP and TQ Sport Displays?

I recently got the Carbahn tune so thought I’d test the displays. It maxed both the HP and TQ numbers at 480, but how accurate is it? Also, is there any way to code it to display more than 480?

Flash tune (BM3) hacks the gauges to display higher numbers but they're still not overly accurate.

Did you search this question? This has been asked many many many times. They are not "accurate" - they are a gimmick that may be within the ballpark sometimes. If you tune your car and don't have a backend hack to modify the display (like BM3) they will not show you anywhere near what the real numbers are (i.e., a gimmick)

How do you like the Carbahn tune?

Don't mean to hack the thread, but I was curious: what do you think of the tun so far? It's easy enough to get the back wheels out even on stock power. Are you having trouble getting the additional power down?

Thescout13 - That’s not a particularly helpful answer. If you search Sport Displays, at the bottom of the first page is another thread in which you also advise someone to search for the answer, but no other threads come up.

Chakatrain - I love it. It’s a noticeable power bump. I’ve not doubt that it’s 500+. Anything over 3k in the first three gears will get the tail out. I didn’t get that same response stock. The 70-100 mph sprint is noticeably faster. I’m taking it to a track day on 2/28, so I’ll get a better sense then of relative pace.

Ok man sure.... let's ignore the other 10 threads that answer it. Also, love how you forget about the rest of my post which answered your question. Smh...
