If you really want the car... in Canada there is a loyalty discount and dealers are willing to negotiate. Also some online retailers have the m performance parts at a discount, but if you can negotiate the installation that could be worth it some some parts (MPE...)

Should I only pay MSRP, some dealer asked me for 10 over. I laughed since most seem to be priced at MSRP on autonation.

Anyone know what the residual and money factor should be on a 2018 M2 lease? I know there are a few still available I have been told by one dealer they can still do a lease but they don't have numbers yet. Figured I would check here to see if they're going to play any games. Thanks.

I believe lease support for the 2018 has expired.

I saw 4 M2 Competition at a local dealership. I chatted with my SA there a bit, and they have a little wiggle room. Maybe 2k to 3k off sticker. Dealership is in Atlanta, GA

That sounds reasonable. The discounts are coming.

No need to pay sticker if you ask me.
Local dealer with hock silver took a 1300 off dct, executive , slicktop build. (~65k msrp)without even asking.

That not to say that other stores don't still think they deserve sticker

Production goes until 6/21 so I can imagine discounts will become more common. That's getting really close to when the new M3 will be here.

Poud new owner of a 2020 M2C in Sunset Orange

$64.5 msrp - DCT Executive package
Ending up paying $61.5k out. Maybe could have worked them for a little more but I called uncle first I suppose.

Hope folks can use this data point for their own benefit. Good luck out there.

Just to clarify , 61.5 plus tax title etc ?

Not 61.5 out the door unless there was a trade involved .

Great deal at a rough 500 over invoice.

Store wanted to cover the cost of running through shop and kept the hold back for them. Very fair on an m2 comp.

Congrats

There is an M2 at the local dealership, completely loaded with options. Sticker is a little above 70K. Ask for their best cash deal (give me a number, i write the check and walk away with the car, easy peezy) They came back to me with MSRP + Paint Protection + LoJack, ended up being 2K-3K more than MSRP, LOL.

I offered 3.5K below MSRP + TTL. They said they sell the M2's at MSRP and the best they could do is 1K for loyalty. Sad, we were very close to a deal and my ask wasnt unreasonable given how loaded the car was with options.

I think thats a deal that they'd jump on in a month or 2 but at that point I will have probably sourced a car from out of state with a dealer that wants to move inventory.

It's hard to put a price on all of the extra add ons-

You can source all of them from sun motor cars for a lot less, you just have to pay for install.

I currently have an offer for 1300 off msrp on a hock silver . Dct, exec .dct, Sticker is 65.100

What spec do you want ?

I just want a 6spd. Alpine White, or Silver, exec package, no sunroof. Dont need much else but also dont look at some add ons as a negative.

I'm not in a huge rush, i have 3 cars, it would be a 4th car for me, just want a fun little daily driver.

M2C Purchase advice

I'm looking to order an M2C and I'm hoping folks with experience can chime in here. I bought a 135 new (N55) a few years back. At that time, there was some bargaining room. But, it seems that there is less so for the M2C. I plan to do Performance Center delivery, so where I purchase is not a big issue. It seems like this could be an advantage for finding the best deal because I can buy from any location. Does anyone recommended working with a particular dealer and/or salesperson who has given them a good price? I'm looking for Exec package and manual. Any suggestions?

I was able to secure a 20 LBB 6mt exec package for just over 59k before taxes. Feeling pretty good about those numbers.
