So to make sure I understand your setup correctly. You don't have anything plugged into the yellow plug under your seat? |

Great! I figured it was possible I have some commands that I found from research but just need to confirm before I start coding.

Appreciate that as well. I'm happy that some have appreciated what I've done and want to emulate. I'm just following the path that I set for myself and no one else. I got some more pieces en route, I'm just patiently waiting.

It's been a while since I've added to this thread. A few weeks ago I received my shipment from Team Schirmer which included:
I need to source another left side axle so that i can can put the diff in, I'm very excited for this as I've heard this piece is really damn good. I have installed the seat system and it's wonderful. It sits perfectly centered and zero need/use for spacers. Best part is that it sits lower than the BK Mounts and OEM sliders. In the first pic I tried to capture the difference, both are at the lowest setting. Overall very happy. I will post more once I get the rest of the stuff installed. I'll most likely set time aside to get everything put in at the same time. |

Now...the blue stitch. I haven't been a fan of the color options for the M2C from the start. I considered buying some panels off a 228/235 that just have black stitch but every option I found they were beat up. I considered getting them re-stitched but the cost didn't resonate with me haha. So I did what is unthinkable to most, I took a black dye marker too the blue stitch. I've done a couple coats but stopped because it's good enough for now. I have other plans down the road so my efforts pleased me.
First I went back to stock floor mats and sold the coco mats. Then the shift boot/ebrake boots. Lastly the door panels, you can still see blue in certain lighting but overall it's not bright polar blue anymore which, like I said is good enough for now. |

Aaaaaand I think this is my last update for now. If any of you are Garage Welt fans/enthusiasts like I am, you will enjoy this as much as I am. The crew has honored my build and is going to be officially on a GW deck. This has been another goal of mine and it's a true honor to be apart of this. They knocked it out of the park with the design and got all the details exactly how it will be. I was hoping to get everything on before the drop but alas there were/are some delays in production/shipping outside of my control.
Here is the link to the reel posted on Garage Welt's IG, they will be available to purchase on their site this Friday at 11am EST. GARAGE WELT AWREVERIES |

Yes the plan is to this year summer/fall. As mentioned before I'm not a die hard tracker. I do however enjoy the build process and to drive it when time permits. If there's a chance for footage I'll take it but I think if you're looking for hot laps on a Schirmer car there are plenty of videos from the ring.
Oh which reminds me. I have a planned trip to visit Nurburgring at the beginning my of July! I will get to experience it all first hand and I'm extremely excited. |

Can you tell us more about the diff? I didn't see it on their website. Will you have to code out anything? How did you keep the black ink from getting into the surrounding alcantara? Amazing build!

As for the dye marker it blends in quite well with the OEM Alcantara. It's not perfect tho you can see it up close but with majority of the angles and lighting it's not noticeable. At least to me and I'm pretty damn picky about everything. |

Been a while and I've got a few updates for Charlotte!
I finally recieved my half cage, I searched high and low for the OEM Safety Car Moto GP half cage with no luck. In the end I got something that is nearly identical and I am extremely happy with it. So we'll start with a few pics of the transformation of my back seat area. It was quite easy to remove the back seat area and i've taken some weight measurements too for anyone that's crazy about weight shedding. Passenger side seat back 12.4 Driver side seat back 19.8 Sound mat 2 Seat bench 14.5 Rear corner pads 4.3 Rear seat belts 4.5 Rear trunk latch 2 Rear head rests 3.5 Total 63 Here is the cage, fitted in. They are secured by rivet nuts that from holes drilled into the chassis. Everything fits perfectly, no need for customization or anything like that. I also opted for a complete alcantara seat delete as well. Hardware 1 Rear corner pads 4.7 Delete 8.5 Cage 48.6 Total 62.8 Apologies for the poor quality of the pics, I had sold my a7iii and only had my iPhone at that time. I'll better ones in the near future. Overall I immediately noticed a bit of chassis rigidity, initially impressed and still am. This cage even allows me to see perfectly out the rear glass which was important to me. I still have just a couple more things for the mid area of the car that will be done and then I can rest easy for a while. Although, that basically means I'm going to hoard parts for a while. |

In the last post I mentioned that I sold my Sony a7iii and I did that because I wanted to upgrade to something that I won't have to upgrade for a long time. My goal was to get the Sony A1 to complement my Sony GM Prime collection of 24mm, 35mm, 85mm, and the 135mm. I finally had a chance to get out to try out the new body with the 35mm and wow, I'm blown away. I am not a pro by any means, I am a work in progress and always trying to improve.
As of today, this is current state of what the build looks like today. Some changes coming soonish. More this summer. Hopefully some track time as well. For now, enjoy! |

Got tired of waiting for my next set of e88s so I got a temporary set of wheels. Was able to source a silver set of BBS RIAs without waiting. I'm pretty happy with them so far.
