Thanks y’all!
The front lip really changes the overall look of the front end. AutoID make a great product for the OG crowd. Also happy I went with the CS spoiler instead of the M Performance option. Checked a bucket list item off today. Motivated a 991 base and S model to point me by in two separate sessions. Always wanted to do that Last edited by Wolfman’s Brother; 01-15-2022 at 05:26 PM.. |

Picked up my first set of coilovers off a forum member in the F80 forum. Ohlins Road and Track.
Now I just need to wait for my camber plates from Vorshlag.

I second that. Is the ride undeniably an improvement over the stocks?
I'm not into dropping the car down coz there's far too many bad roads (and unpainted humps) here.

Adjusted all to middle settings and only went for one short ride, much less bouncy than the first bit. Tough to give real impressions when I'm on winter tires as I reach the limit of the tires way before anything else. Will comment further once it warms up and do some actual driving and get an alignment. |

Yesterday my new rims finally arrived and fitted today.
My own specific relative deep concave 5 spoke design made via PSG Parts, here in Belgium. Forged alu. CNC machined. Front: 19 x 9.5j ET 29, 255/35 Rear: 19 x 10j ET37, 265/35 Studs and nuts are also on the menu but I am still waiting for that.

I opted for a 255 tyre and a 9.5" rim at the front because that way the tyre wall and the pulling of the tyre is a better match with the 265 tyre on the 10" rim at the back, which in my opinion gives a more balanced view of the whole in comparision with the thinner 245 tyre.
Second advantage, more grip at the front. Third advantage, a little bit more comfort at the front on bad road surfaces and a little bit more ground clearance. The ET value at the front with a 9.5j rim gives +6.3mm more widening then stock with the same ET and the rear is now with 10j. ET37 +3mm wider then stock, enough to let the wheels run flush without making them stick out like many do, something that is not acceptable for me for a wide body car.

Had my 437M's refinished in a satin silver, wavered back and forth on colors of silver to grey but looking at powder colors is overwhelming so eventually just sent the shop a few wheels I liked and let them come up with something. Upon seeing the pictures it probably wasn't what I would have chosen but after a test mount I am very happy.
Also went with new tires 255/275 Yokohama Advan Apex V601. I mounted these to see the color and how the new coils installed last week look with the summer setup. Unsure if I'll add any small spacers. |

Put in the Mashimarho LED wheel last weekend. Feels great. There were 0 instructions whatsoever which was disappointing. Finish/quality I would give a 7-8/10. I would go 8/10 if it had included some basic sort of instructions. The stitching has some issues but they are not where you can see them, you can clearly tell most of the effort was put in where it's visible.
Hilariously the default was KM/hr and shift point at 3500 RPM so it was flashing like crazy driving around low speed. Very cool electronics once I worked out how to program it from some semi-poorly written online instruction manual from the company that makes the display unit. |

Getting my Ohlins R&T coilovers installed today. However I was told it wouldn't be done today because I'm also getting SPL parts and M2 CS Racing sway bar getting installed while getting alignment tomorrow.

Took it in for service yesterday. Was the first service I had to pay for. What a surprise. Oil service, microfilter replacement, and inspection was close to $500.
