no you dont.. i do a lot of track work and my car is set up for track work and 265 at the front is more than sufficient.

a lot of guys run 265/295 combo and i run a 265/285 combo and prefer it in terms of pure balance.

Also, I managed to fit 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 Goodyear Eagle f1 3r tires! Holy shit those tires are great I HIGHLY recommend them for the track.
check out my build ... i have a lot of information around things like you mentioned..

i gutted the M Sport Brakes for AP Racing. They are too heavy too big to fit 18 inch rims on and the braking performance does suffer as it heat soaks too much and cant dissipate as quickly as others.. and yes was using Pagid RS29, Braided lines, Brake cooling ducts, High temp fluids.

The AP Racing Pro5000R absolutely smokes the OEM brakes and the bonus is they save massive amounts of unsprung weight and on a race track you feel the difference and it makes a huge difference to laptimes.

and i also gutted seats etc.. i managed to strip out about 200lbs from my car

Lol yeah that's probably fair to say. Probably not by too much if you left brake pads and tires out of the equation but don't fact check that 😅

Had a few great track days the past 2 weekends. Been trying the Nankang cr-s and I really liked them. Also added a little more negative camber to -3.7 and -2.7.

Ran a 1:53.6 last weekend at Buttonwillow CW 13! Car is down to 3420 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. Still a pig but we're working on it.

Installed the antigravity battery in the rear.

Aero is in the works as well as a welded in half cage should be installed in about 4 weeks!

Zebulon will be making the rear wing
Suveneer is supplying the airdamn lip
MFR is doing the lip / splitter

Discord confuses me. I have an account, but I can't figure out how to join.

Sigh. Analog in a digital world.

Titan7 T-s5 19/10.5 et 44
Toyo r88r - 265/30 & 295/30
Purchased from EAS (Also been a huge help)

Cars lowered slightly but not slammed at all, only slight rubbing at full compression with the Toyo r888r 295/30/19 rear but working with West End Alignment on 3/8

The ride is STIFF but in the best of ways. Incredible feedback from the road and cornering. I will have updates once it gets on the track and at speed, (waiting for alignment to be responsible and fair with that)
Did you run into issues putting the cannisters there and clearance to the hood? Tried to put mine in the same spot but the hood pushes down on them and bends some stuff.

I'm on OEM hood still so maybe the GTS hood has a bit more clearance, but its the same shape underneath so I'm not sure?

No issue with clearance! I actually got the idea from a that Nuremberg guy video where he lifted the hood of his m2. Did you remove the black plastic cover?

Hmm, yeah I removed them, maybe it was just the positioning, I'll have to try again now, my poor mechanic ahaha.

Thanks for letting me know!
