Update: I kept calling my dealership once in a while, just so they remember. They kept telling me the earliest they'd be available for shipping was the end of Apr 2022. Then, this week, I got a call from my dealership informing me that my rears are on their way from Germany already. So hopefully...

I recently purchased a set of used wheels with this coating. Apparently the C5 doesn't need the V3 or now V4 hydrophobic coating, and they do feel slick, and bead nicely. Did you add the V3/V4 on top of your C5?

No V3/V4 just straight C5. It doesn't keep the wheels any cleaner, but dust washes off much much easier.

I wonder why they make the V3/V4 if people aren't going to use it? Maybe it's designed to be used without C5, and can be used with C5, but just isn't necessary. Gtechniq told me it wasn't necessary themselves, but could be used on top.

I use C2V3 on top of the C5. I add it the beginning of every season when I switch tires. I consider it more of a sacrificial layer/maintenance coating. Maybe it will help the C5 last longer? Makes the surface more slick but unsure if it's adding any real benefit.
