Europeans and many other places in the world get a minimum of 4 weeks vacation. Some even get 6 weeks of vacation. Much of that holiday time is taken in summer. The Italians practically shut down the country during August...no AC over there. In the US people are often guilt tripped out if they take their full 2 weeks. It's a cultural thing.

I know, at this moment was no holiday.

I moved from Germany to US.
6 weeks are so nice, took me a while to get used to it here. After working in one place for a while, I have now 4 weeks.

Good for you! Four weeks in the US is great. I had 6 weeks when I lived over there. I'd take one week at a time and get six 9 day stretches 😎 That ain't bad!

All the people around me have 3/4 weeks right now and the rest of the year they use the rest(season's holidays etc)

And what do I have? An M2 Competition

And no days off whatsoever this year. I'm my own boss lol.

A bit less than half a milion people in the Netherlands(>17 million people)
have 52 weeks a year vacation paid by The Government. Wow. That would be great, wouldn't it!???

Cheers

Work in progress:
"Still wearing a full body camouflage, the racer completed the 6 hours endurance race, but the result was nothing to write home about. The successor to the M240i Racing crossed the finish line second-to-last in a not-too-flattering 109th place.
Obviously, that’s because BMW Motorsport’s purpose was not to win the race but continue the development of the car in racing conditions."

You thinking full camo because it's actually closer to the CS than the C?

Let's wait and see whether the CF hood of the M2 CS will also feature the air vent.

The M2 M Performance Parts carbon fiber hood does not feature the air vent:

Seems like it would be very easy for BMW to throw together a CSL

I agree. It's basically the race car made road-legal for the street.

OP should add “CFRP driveshaft” to the “uncerain” category since that is what used to go into base M4 and currently goes into CS models.

The M2 racer bonnet vent

No wonder the MP carbon bonnet didn't move me much when it was released. The CS/GTS hood on the M2 platform is the real deal!

I just want to buy the CS rear lip spoiler for my OG M2. The M2 racing hood is nice but will be too much money for my plans with the car.

I swear, this moronic, drawn out release has completely tapered my enthusiasm for the CS. BMW sucks at this....

Even more so with the rumored US only "very special" limited edition M2 as a possibility...

This probably won't be revealed until November at LA Auto Show. Hopefully they are clear about the special version.

Had no idea you moved to the M2 platform. Very nice!
The car is a blast

But thanks! It's such a fun daily! Part of me wishes I went with the M2C in HS but with the deal I got on my car, I would have paid a little over $10k more for the Comp than what I did for the OG. I love the S55 power delivery and its robust cooling but the sound of the N55 is a nice consolation prize

We have to hope that the special version is revealed alongside the CS to avoid confusion.

Took the car to the dealer to get it serviced, pulled in and handed th key to the guy and sat down, some other cars also came in and told the receptionist my details.

5 mins later heard this loud GROWLLL on startup and was like 'Damn! Wtf was that!?' Oh yea, its my car
