I have na M2 OG.

just recently - and very randomly my passenger door lock is NOT locking with the fob - UNLESS I open the passenger door and close it.

The passenger door is only used on weekends. It also seems to not lock occasionally - any reason why this is happening?

Everything has worked fine since I've owned until the last couple of weeks.

The only thing I can think of is that we had really low temperatures (-7 celsius) recently - and I think its started after then.

Any solutions without having to go to BMW/ specialist?

Door unlocks no issue. I've just changed to setting to from comfort unlock too - to avoid having to open and close door to lock.

Is the behavior consistent when locking the vehicle from the drivers door handle? Curious if you can isolate the issue to just the remote?
