Hex OBD what am I doing wrong?

Got my Hex cable today's, downloaded the driver for the cable and the BMW Hex download.
Trying to get the computer to read my vehicles data, I keep getting a USB not recognized error message, as a result I am dead in the water. Any thoughts? Thanks

did you disable the driver signature in windows per the instructions?

Thanks to those that responded and appreciated. Got it to work, typical guy thing, I'm a guy I don't need no stinking instructions!, lesson learned.

Waiting for the files to be returned, Stage 2, have Fabspeed DP, AA intercooler and charge pipe, MPE exhaust. It's winter here, snowing to boot, so it will be a while before I get to enjoy. Until the spring it's just my 91 325iX and me.
