Thank you for your opinion. Since you had the car 11 days and stated the exhaust is louder than the video clips, how much drone would you say it produces? Is it easy to drive long distances?

He said 1 l/10 km not 1 l/100 km. That corresponds to 10 l/100 km or 23,56 MPG (US).

Edit: I just saw the commentary of MR. was edited a posteriori. I supose that it was wrong when you wrote your commentary. Sorry for correcting you.

I choose LBB as well. The spec of the press car almost similar as mine.

Hardly any drone. The sound is quite low inside, but much louder outside. Want the noise? Just open the window, arm outside the window and be a typically BMW driver I drove it today from Monaco to Munich, and there were no issues with drone at all. It was a wonderful drive, most of it I drove with the radio one (only had the stock speakers, no HK)

I would like to sit lower in the M2, but I was already on the lowest setting. Other than that nothing really to comment. Just do not choose the electric seats, I did not and it allows me to sit low. You can easily sit with four in the car, not for long drives, but for short drives no worries.

Huh?

He mentioned the clickbait in the title, I said "welcome to the Internet" as in that clickbait on youtube is common.

I don't watch those young car youtubers at all.

Can you please speak some more about the road noise inside the cabin?
How does it compare to m235i and other BMWs you have driven. Is it tolerable for long commute?

Overall there is a lot more road noise. Definitely more than the M235i, giving you an all round more sporty feel. Is it bad for long distance driving? Not at all!

The noise is only intrusive when you are on a road with gravel, badly paved sections or little stones. I drove some of those roads in Italy and then it is a lot more noticeable. Especially because of the bigger tires and a stiffer suspension.

On highway cruising or in city traffic I had not one complaint about it. It is totally fine, my main concern is that I do not hear enough of the exhaust inside, while on the outside the M2 is louder than you expect. If something is required to be a lot louder, it is the exhaust tune on the inside. Upgrade required and ADB must be disengaged.

Test drove the car today for an hour and agree to the points that you have mentioned. Great little car. I think it sounded better than the m4 with mpe I drove earlier.

It's a shame the power seats are the only US option in the M2. A definite step down from the 1M in that regard.

I am sure that some drivers will struggle with the power seats in the M2 if they are either tall or simply like to sit low in the vehicle or they want to wear a helmet.

MR
I find this perplexing.

I've been reading about this on another forum and the person that has taken the M2 out is adamant that the electric seats sit lower than the manually adjustable ones.He stated that he sat in an M235i and the electric seats were definitely lower.(something to do with being able to the tilt the manual seat up making them about 1" higher)

I'm all for the lower seat and if that comes with the beneficially lighter manual seat then so be it,but I find polar opposite views disconcerting.

Any more info ?

Thanks for the write up and your thoughts.

However its interesting to note after reading many reviews on the M2 that the negatives on this write up are positives on many of the other reviews by very professional people including performance drivers.

For this reason I take some reviews with a grain of salt. However there are many reviews that syncs with each other in the comments and these are the ones we have to take note of seriously.

To sum up, we all need to perform our own conclusions when driving the car our selves ( Personal taste)
