Tried both, neither worked. Both the remote and the door handle.

As I wrote, it is the same with the key remote... And of course works also in the opposite way for the key, hold "open" and windows will go down as long as you hold it Works for EU spec exactly the same as in Australia. It has to be the same also for any other version I guess... |

Excuse the dumb question if its dumb!
If you buy the Bluetooth adapter, I presume you cant be connected to your car at the same time for handsfree phone calls? |

I guess if you're using Bimmerlink for exhaust control/etc that might be a problem, but for coding I can't see a need to have the adapter plugged in constantly.

I have my Veepeak constantly plugged and no problem with handsfree. Bimmerlink connection is phone-bt module and then you have another phone-car. If you have 2 different connections, it has to work together I think (at least Iphone is ok). But you have to try it in real life of course...

I use the OBDLink LX Bluetooth for both my s4 and m2c and love it. Beyond just coding, its transfer rate is great for monitoring and logging.

Can someone please clarify as this is getting a little confusing now, does BimmerCode work now with M2C? If it doesn't, is the developer aware and working on a fix?

If I remember correctly, you have US spec, right? I remember reading in a thread that US spec cars have this feature turned off. Good news is that I was able to use BimmerCode to turn it on and the mirrors now fold with Comfort Access.

I can only speak for myself. I use an android tablet with the OBDLink bluetooth device I mentioned above and have had no problems using bimmercode. I used it to code everything I wanted before dropping it off for PPF, etc a few days ago.
