It’s about fifty times more exciting than the effective but rather dull A45 AMG and more enjoyable and interactive than an Audi RS3. If you don’t need rear seats then it’s not quite so fluid and special to drive as a Cayman, nor is the engine such an event. Of course the 718 is coming with its own turbocharged engine so perhaps that particular point might be overturned.
