Coding programs

What coding methods are out there that are NOT wireless and include an actual wire?

I don't like the idea of wireless coding as connection issues can happen. So what are the wired coding options?

Wired coding I believe is only Esys, all other phone type apps use a wireless ODII wifi/bluetooth dongle.
