Disabled the burbles when I got my catless DP/AA mid pipe, with the Eisenmann exhaust it was just way way too much!

I did have them at 0.6 seconds/12 AGG with BM3 and that's where I would stay if I enabled them again.

Can you disable the burbles and pops with BM3 if you have the newest ISTEP F020-19-03-530 or later? (March 2019 and onwards)

Rear a comment that it locks BM3 from applying any parameters earlier in this thread.

Urgently need a response as I have an appointment for ISTEP updating in a few days and while I would obviously prefer both, I need to code out the popcorns

BM3 can't do any flashing with the latest DME update.

Just avoid any dealer updates full stop if I were you..

Sort of, flaps closed will muffle any burbles, but the standard programming doesn't create burbles when flaps are closed.

Equally, flaps open doesn't make burbles

Actually you can, or rather you should be able to do that soon enough. To my knowledge, I'm one of the first beta testers of a new feature under BimmerLINK called "Sound Tuning" that turns the dang burbles off...I reached out to the BimmerCode/Link developer asking for the feature. I'm testing it out now with great success...for more info and crappie phone vids, see thread link here

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...0&postcount=75

Once both the developer and I are happy with our datalogs and tests, I suppose he'll push out a version update for the general public.

I already have Bimmercode so I'm waiting to hear if he will add this feature to it.

FYI...in a few weeks, look in the app store for an updated version of https://www.bimmerlink.app/.

It will have a feature to turn off the burbles (in the beta version that I've been testing it's called "Sound Tuning" - and it consistently worked for me since it was developed last week).

I can confirm that you can turn off the burbles with the AK motion on the M2C

Hey guys. Is it possible to add more burbles/pops on my F40 M135i? Mine is a later build and they have 'mapped out' the overrun and pops and bangs. Only really get them on a start-up. Been searching everywhere online and found this forum! Hopefully it is possible after all!?

Thanks in advanced.

Is there anyway to control the amount of burbles on a 2021? I think they have their time and place and wouldn't mind reducing them without completely eliminating them.
From what I understand, 2021 models are untunable given the ECU right?

Efficient = Less

Yeah I meant if there was some sort of way to manipulate the amount/percentage within each of those modes. Basically adjust so Sport+ burbles as much as sport to still get the benefits of sport + vs deciding 100% on or off.

Also interested in how to do this! Surely must be configurable via esys?

I do that with BM3 flashing the DME, but no use if you can't do that.

That way you can fine tune burble intensity and duration independently for each driver mode.

Or just turn them off altogther if you like.

I have them off in efficient and sport and on for sport+ but turn the duration down to 0.2sec and intensity up to 8 so it just gives a nice single "crack" rather than the tedious flatulent rumbling of the standard car.

Being able to adjust the length and intensity of the burbles is actually one of the main factors of why I want to be able to tune. Power gains are great and all but adjusting these kinds of settings to my liking, that's more of my bag.

I guess I'm lucky, mines an October 2018 car, never been updated - and never will be - so still fully OBD tunable.

just turned of P&B through the bimmercode app - way better in my opinion, still has a nice "pop" when under WOT.
