Snows did not help much on my E36M3 but on my 328 the difference was night an day. Think it had to do w/the TRQ not sure.
A second car is really best. If the snow is deep and the ruts end up freezing you could hit the front spoiler. Also NEVER run summer compound tires in the winter. One year I was late change out the summer tires until late October. While putting the summer tires away, I noticed that there was a thin film of water that had the absorbed into the soft rubber and froze as a thin layer of ice around the tire that was not noticeable while the tires were on the car. |

Getting winter tires this year. Next year dropping the car and getting a wrangler as a beater
