18" Track Set-Up
For all who Track with 18" Staggered Set-up, what do you feel is the best tire size for slightly lowered with camber plates? What size in 18" works and feels the best for you.

I run 275/295 on 9.5/10.5. I do not like going past 20mm of stagger and find this to be my fastest setup for this car right now. Really looking forward to being able to run a wider square setup soon

I run 255/275 on 9"/10" wide 513M wheels. Seems to work fine for stock power and I think it'll work with a mild tune and a stickier tire choice

I ran with used Pirelli DH slicks, 275/645/18 and 305/660/18. No rubbing, no issues. Loved the setup and at $600 a set for the tires, very cost effective.

I liked the looks of this setup and the owner seems to think its pretty good:

These size tires must be for Europe only as 295/30/18 does not appear to be available over here in a Dirrezza tire here. Widest size is 285/30/18. The front is also a 265/35/18. Tires say Dirrezza, but the specific tire does not seem familiar.

Anyone running the M2 CS Racing wheels?
They are 513Ms in 11J ET46 and supposedly they run a square setup. https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...-racing-wheels

I run the Apex 18x10's in case I want to go square setup...
Right now running the Yoko A052's 265/35F and 295/35 Rear. Probably going to pick up a pair of 18x11's for the rear. Next round of tires will be the new Hankook 660's for street and auto X, Then a set of Toyo RR's , both 265/295...

Do you track you car? I was wondering how 40 series tires work on the track as it has a higher sidewall and seems to works against getting to a lower center of gravity. I use 40 series for Winter driving and they work fine for that type of driving.

this winter I did the camber and has mods, I plan to get more tracktime this year, I will give you a feedback on the 40 sidewall but so far they feel good, slightly softer, turn in feels good, grip is good as well |

I ran 255/275 40 series A052 on 18s last year, and a buddy is running Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 in the same size on track. We’ve both been happy with the handling and would recommend. I will say the A052 rubbed a bit on the liner in the back. Not an issue with the Goodyears. In the case of the A052, this size was roughly $200/set cheaper than the 265/295 that many folks run, so was worth a try for me. Balance at a 20mm stagger was spot on. Haven’t tried the bigger option yet, so can’t offer a comparison. |

Currently running 255/35-19 and 275/35-19 re71r on stock wheels.
Planning to go 18x10 265/35-18 and 18x11 295/30-18, simply because everyone on the nurburgring runs it. My local tracks are FIA GP tracks, but nothing like the nurburgring. We have a lot of open 90 and hairpins turns and a average track speed of 130km/h. Hope this setup works out. |

I assume this is 275/35/18 and 295/30/18? What tires were you using and on what rims?

Not quite as sharp on turn in as a square setup but quicker for me than dropping the rear down to match the front. Bring the front up to match the rear would be sublime on these cars.
