M2C Front Bumper Paint "Seams/Edges"

Hello all, new owner here of a 6MT M2C as of about a month ago!

Looong story short, I brought the car to my local service center for a quick checkup and they unfortunately damaged the car. Part of the damage was done to the front bumper which had PPF from the previous owner. I had the body shop consult a detailing service to remove the PPF so they could repaint the bumper. I got the car back, but as I was looking closer at the bumper I noticed these "seams" that sort of look like PPF edges at first glance. They're noticeable just inside the wheel well and also right where the bumper meets the hood right above the kidney grill. I was just a bit confused since the PPF should have been removed and wanted to see if anyone here (without PPF on their car) has the same thing. TIA!

Not a ppf expert but they probably did remove it and the one installed is from a template and that is the way the plot cut the template

It does seem like that's the case. I ruled that out as I was assuming that I would get the car back without new PPF on the car. It was previously agreed upon with the service center that I would be getting the new PPF replaced on my own later on once the paint has had enough time to cure, and that they would just reimburse the cost...looks like this service center is yet again trying to get out easy. Oh well...thanks for the reply!

Ah I read the whole post wrong haha but yeah that does look like PPF and definitely bs if they did not wait a little bit before applying. Maybe fine but playing with fire.

Those look more like mold lines from the manufacturing process.

Ahh I think you're right! I was able to find a video of someone removing their front bumper and you can faintly see similar edges.

Yes, it's just the bumper mold. Mine looks the same, and doesn't have PPF on it.
Sorry for the sideways photo, I didn't know how to fix it.
