Spoiler Glue Stuck

Was the spoiler that was on before this the OE unit or did the previous owner install something aftermarket?

the previous owner installed something after market, I think RW Carbon

I think a more thorough job with a eraser wheel gets the job done. Surely you can dodge a full trunk respray.

FYI BMW certified body shop I paid to do mine did an exceptional job and only charged $300 for spoiler, front lip, and rear diffuser.

update : got it fixed up by a shop that used an eraser wheel and a lot of buffing. fitment on spoiler is way better, I'm very happy with the fix
