I can get behind those gloves but I use 2 things

this for the barrel, easily the best I have ever used. I had a different brush for the barrel that has the little plastic tip and the tip came off and ended up scratching a wheel. This one is super well very well and you can just change the cleaning part out.

Nice. For brushes, I preferred the large EZ Detail Brush compared to my incredibrush, but I never had their flat version.

The brushes and chemical products just lacked and always required touch up after. Especially after I started tracking every month. Hands + soap and water = perfect. If the gaps are too small and you cant reach the barrel, then youll need a brush though.
I agree, I add that to leave them perfect it is best to remove them for washing.

This afternoon I removed the rear wheels of mine to change the brake disc protectors and washed them by hand with a wool glove and shampoo, they were spotless.

flat is really nice to clean the barrels, very easy to get in there all the way to the back
