Looks like we are still left with a fuel economy meter instead of an oil temperature gauge on a sports car (I wonder if they are required by some countries' efficiency/emissions regulations to provide this gauge.)

Did they delete the front, side corner markers from stock now? (or is this an AU thing where it's not required?)

I like that it's rather reserved in styling - attracts less attention.

The description says "centrally positioned oil gauge"

probably same as my18, part of the digital display? that's what's in the center on the current model.

I apologize if I am off topic or sound dazed, I was under the impression new generation M2 with order date of January 2018 are to have S55 V8 engine. Is the project scrapped? M2 CS will continue with inline six?

I am sure the answer is buried within the thread here, forgive my laziness.

APRIL 2017: some interesting info surfaced in the M2 section of the German forum '2erTalk' (sources: here, here and here):
January 2018: M2 CS ordering process starts
March 2018: M2 CS goes into production | S55 engine | 410 hp | no limited edition
March 2019: M2 GTS (or M2 CSL?) goes into production | S55 engine | 450 hp | limited edition/production (the '999' figure has been heard, but could change)
