UPDATE: Spoke to Ryan today and they are not interested in making it because the OG M2 is old now, they already offer plenty of lip spoilers for the OG, and they have too many other projects going on with newer cars. So unless we can find another (reputable) carbon fiber manufacturer who is willing to take this on, the project is dead.

Well that's a bummer. They should've invested time into a clean lip rather than the ugly GP lip they always advertise. Makes the M2 look like it has a cleft lip lol.


Guess we will have to settle for the Edison Composites which is the closest to the M2C Lip

Old? Surely the biggest aftermarket audience is for cars coming out of warranty/leases. Choice for other bmws past and present is huge e46 and on especially.

Its a shame as mentioned several times nobody has come up with a front lip that looks proper for the car that doesnt look tacky. Most are too big and accentuate the tall body of the m2. For me with a lowered car, no lip at all looks better.

Agreed it is a shame, strange reason too considering there are probably around as many OG M2 vs. M2C that will be produced, and the M2C already has a great lip from BMW so seems like you'd want to corner the OG M2 market...maybe I'll just one-off fab one for myself.

If you made a splitter with working brake cooling ducts, that doest jut out too much and wo the side wings for OG M2 in either CF or Black plastic - I'd be interested

It’s a knockoff on eBay and every review I’ve read by people that have bought it said it has fitment issues and the quality is poor.
