Apex Wheels | ML-10RT Gold & Silver Feature

F87 M2 Photoshoot: Ml-10RT wheels in 2 finishes

The wait is over. M2 customers have been waiting to see an F87 on our new Forged ML-10RT wheels since we announched the project months ago. While we wish we had these shots sooner, our media team has put in a ton of work editing all the recent content including this look at 2 different staggered fitments on this track modified M2 competition.

18” Staggered:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Gloss Motorsport Gold
Front: 18x9.5 ET22
Rear: 18x11 ET44

Tires:
Continental ExtremeContact Sport02
Front: 265/35-18
Rear: 295/35-18

While most M2 Competitions in the US have the factory 2NH brakes, Dave’s M2 has AP racing aftermarket brakes. Beyond helping with track performance, these more compact brakes also allow him to run 18” wheels on track giving him a lighter overall package as well as more affordable tires. OG M2s with the stock brakes can run a similar fitment as long as they have the ability to dial in a bit of camber up front and trim the rear fender liners slightly to prevent rub.

19” Staggered:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Race Silver
Front: 19x9.5 ET22 with a 5mm front spacer
Rear: 19x11 ET44

Tires:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Front: 275/30-19
Rear: 305/30-19

The 19” fitment is the more commonly run diameter on the M2. For M2 competition customers, it is often a necessity for brake clearance alone. This setup features a more aggressive front offset and rear width than our typical M2 fitment, but it can work on a modified car. Our less aggressive fitment optimized for the M2 specifically will also be available (19x9.5 ET28 front and 19x10.5 ET45 rear).

Big thanks to our Photoshoot Volunteer Dave for letting us shoot their car! This M2 recently came back from the shop after a track day so its still sporting some track debris, but we appreciate Dave bringing the car by on such short notice.

Good looking wheel. The thick lip really works well with that size. Fatty FTW.

I like them! looks awesome in both 18 and 19s.

Are these a one piece wheel? Apologies if this has been answered before, I haven't been following the development.

Yes they are a one-piece design. Unlike a traditional 3 piece wheel they also have concavity differences on a fitment to fitment basis depending on the offset as well.

The wheels above are all profile 3, but the profiles range between 1 and 4 for these wheels depending on the application.

These look fantastic. What size tires would work with this setup?

For those sizes, we recommend 265/30-19 front and 295/30-19 rear. depending on the tire you can also run 255/35-19 F, 275/35-19 rear.

In reference to the F8x Carbon Ceramic Brakes, yes these will clear in the 19x9.5" ET22 for the ML-10RT.

Sounds like it will be a pretty gnarly setup! That front will need about 3-4 degrees of camber, but unfortunately, I am not able to verify the clearance on the suspension side, but you will likely need a spacer. If you have any more questions about that, feel free to send us an email or DM, we would love to help!
