The only noise you need to be worried about from the diff is a "crunching," that's the best way to describe the 16-17 diff noises which needed replacement. The low speed whine, especially when turning, is pretty normal.

One solution is a loud exhaust, now I never hear the diff.

Is it still under warranty?

Sure then the sirens kick in and you have whining on a entirely different level

Car is still under warranty. Just picked it up on Saturday. I only notice the whine at slow speeds.

Normal

Enjoy yourself

Have the fluid changed if it bothers you

Keep an eye on it just incase while you still have coverage on it

I may change the fluid, as a preventative measure. This is the first car I've purchased without crawling underneath it...I simply didn't fit!

I haven't looked up service intervals yet, however, I'm presuming this is one of those "lifetime" fluids...

It's to low to crawl under no doubt
