There's those wheels again! They were on the M3 mules, I think they look great. Wish they made it to production
They test guys got lazy and forgot to put camo over the Roundel. Now the secret is out that that thing is a BMW! It will be neat to see if this car gets the hood bulge like the M3.... I hope the 2er gets 4 doors as well, this thing would be hot as a M2 GC.

You guys think those rear lights are going to stay like that or they'll change it on the production version? There's no camo on it so it got me thinking they might not change it...I'm not a big fan.

Neither do I. Instead of looking different than that M3, it looks like a baby version of it.

I really love those prototype wheels though. They should definitely be standard in the light grey with option for black/hypersilver in production.
I love seeing the development of this little beauty. I'm extremely happy with my 1M and I hope those who didn't get a chance to grab one when they came out can grab these without worrying about limited production and enjoy like I am. |

I have had a hard time getting used to the look of the M3...can't put my finger on it quite yet. Maybe it's the seemingly flattened front end.
But when I see it in the context of the M2 prototype, I don't care what it is about the M3's quirky looks, I prefer the M2 so much more. The proportions just seem more appealing to me. I am putting the wife on notice...when this car arrives, the SUV is out of the garage. |

I think the only thing that really bugs me about the F30+ cars including the new M2/M3/M4 is a cosmetic issue with the hood line sitting above the logo. When I saw this for the first time on an AW F30 335 it immediately stuck out like a sore thumb.
I prefer having the hood line extend all the way to the end below the BMW roundel. On darker colors it doesn't bother me as much, but even on the new Austin Yellow and Yas Marina Blue it's noticeable. |
