In process of parting out and selling my Golf R to move to a M2C. Is anyone able to do dme bench unlocks locally in Denver or Springs?

In case anyone wants to have DME unlock done in the future and doesnt want to pull themselves or have shop do it and have to send out to have the bench unlock done Black Canyon Performance can do the unlocks in house and are pretty reasonable $ wise to do so

Apologies for the delayed response. I believe the quote was $300. Still on the hunt for my M2C so havent had it done yet

I don't know if you still need this information but I have them set up to unlock my M2C next Thursday. The quote was between $220 and $340 so fairly reasonable, and not too bad of a lead time either. I'll follow up afterward to comment on service. I intend to go with BM3 after the unlock is finalized.

I’m in Houston and shops around here want $1000 to bench unlock… Sounds like a great deal to me!

Checking back in - I was priced on the low end of that range and the unlock worked as I was able to flash an OTS map from Bootmod3 with relative ease. I had to force flash the first time but after that it's been smooth sailing.

I'll bump on old thread. Just spoke with Black Canyon performance. $227 to do a bench unlock. I'm heading over there in two weeks to have it done. This is on a 2016 340.

Yeah thats why I just decided to have them do it. Its a great deal it seems vs what others pay. My tuner had a tool he could send me but I would have had to do some work to get to the DME to plug in and then he would unlock remote but I weighed the hassle factor vs $200+ to have BC do it and chose the latter route
