Hard to say, I suppose it depends on how many parts one plans to order, the type of parts (i.e. you don't get the part that it got replaced), etc.
I am looking fo feedbacks from folks who had done it before when they ordered M2/M3/M4 and MP parts whether it is worthwhile to order along with the car.

I routinely get BMW OEM parts between 15% and 25% off list price by buying online.

I negotiated an invoice deal on both the car and the M performance parts (before any incentives) on my M4 ZCP 2 years ago. I ordered the CF diffusor, trunk spoiler and MPE with CF tips. The total cost (MSRP) of the M performance parts was $8,035 and I paid $6,415 so about 20% discount.

Sad news for swiss guys who want to tear the roof appart... or bonnet, fenders and trunk etc. Those parts will not be available (and legal) in switzerland before 2020.

Why 2020?

Some sort of regulations preventing sale?

I was wondering how that would work with crash testing etc. I find it hard to believe that the carbon fiber fenders and hood could decrease impact to a driver as well as steel. In a serious accident I wonder what kind of excuses the insurance companies would come up with in the event of a lawsuit.

Question......If the plan is to make a significant number of new parts for the M2C backward compatible to the previous M2, then does that translate to things like the M-Performance Exhaust being forward compatible to the M2C?

I'm largely looking to budget immediate parts or try to add them for delivery.

No, the M2C has a dual path midpipe.

So then probably just a muffler. I suppose that'll be a good thing.

Several sources state, there will be no MPE available in the future due to emission rules.

Should come to the US and other markets, but who knows when? Seems like the PPF markets will not get it. It's available for an M3, so why not the M2C?

Ya my thoughts exactly. Except the MPE also became unavailable for the OG M2 for NA cars when they banned it in Europe :

M2C already sounds brutal. It doesn't need an MPE.

Check your ears if you can't hear the exhaust

Don't worry, I can hear the exhaust and it's not brutal by any means Go check out a GT350 or an F-Type R to hear how an exhaust sounds brutal.

FACTS! If you're coming from a 335 or 435 like yourself then yeah you'll think it's brutal but in comparison to other track cars...it sounds like CACA!! I can't wait for IND to post the Eisenmann Race exhaust video on their IG...That'll be my choice I think!
