Looks great, almost like it came from the factory like that!

Video sounds decent, but I'm sure it sounds much better in person.

Thanks! It's a clean install indeed. I tried getting decent video but as always is difficult to catch good sound. In person you can hear it loud and clear even over my exhaust setup.

Are you sure??? My mate has them on his M3 and they are most definately open.

https://www.eventuri.net/products/bmw-f8x-m3m4/

These are "open" sure the elements are shrouded but they still suck in hot air unlike the OEM or Turner setup above.

The M2 one does seem to be sealed. I was talking S55.

https://www.eventuri.net/products/bmw-m2-m235i-m135i/

EDIT: I assumed (wrongly) that the M2C used the F8X setup. This is wrong and they are enclosed please ignore the above comment. The tuner only told me about the F8X setup no clue on the M2C setup power wise.

https://www.eventuri.net/products/bm...2-competition/

If OEM is good for 800WHP then id personally rather spend the money elsewhere.

Looks very promising!!

A couple questions: I was looking through the installation manual and looks like the airbox covers don't actually screw in anywhere and slide into place. Do they stay on pretty solid?

And how is the quality of the carbon pieces and fitment overall?

Thanks!

Yeah its more for the sound and the look. I've averaged about 40% worse fuel economy after installing my intakes, I just can't resist hearing that intake/turbo noise lol.

Airbox covers plug into three of the retaining rubber mounts, just like the ones the bottom stock airbox plugs into so the are solid in place. They also sit snug under the carbon strut brace so they aren't really going anywhere. The quality of the parts is top notch, the carbon finish and weave looks good and the openings for the sensors are perfectly cut and fit snug. I had no issues with fitment.

I can second that, the induction sounds is much more noticeable so I am constantly on the throttle to hear it.

Silly question; could I get one without the "Turner" logo(s)
Nothing against Turner Motorsport but that Logo is actually a bit of a deal breaker.

They rightfully deserve the publicity for what looks like a great product but the branding is way off.

Carbon Intakes are 50% eye-candy. A simple thing like a logo can ruin or misrepresent the product.

Are we talking about the black and silver one on the intake or the blue/yellow one on the heat shield?

The black and silver one is subtle enough to not be eye piercing. And the one on the heat shield is hidden under the cover.

DINAN ones have it written all over the boxes and the D logo on the intake tube and I still think they also look good.

I believe the aluminum inlet does not have the Turner logo.

The central one on the inlet tube

Turner Motorsports business model makes it somewhat the Wall Mart of BMW components. Name itself is also a bit generic. Dinan has the legacy, Eventuri has the luxury image. Turner Motorsports? Eh, generic reliable brand.

I just think a sub brand, acronym or just a good alternative logo would do the intake more justice.

Everyone has an opinion, I respect yours, but I just don’t agree with it.

When I was running DINAN parts lots of people were hating on them because they had been sold to APR and Steve had moved to another company. Others blasted them because of the poor gains their tunes had, regardless their products to me were solid. So I see you mention legacy about them but not everyone shares your view of them. I do like Dinan parts and run their turbo on my daily driver.

Turner has been in the racing business for years, I have seen them multiple times at the IMSA races and they are not a company that started last year so not sure where the Walmart comparison comes from, but like I said everyone will have their own opinions. I am happy with carrying their brand logo same way their spacers I ran had them.

Same goes with all other parts on my build from VRSF and Active Autowerke which their Downpipes and exhaust have their logos on them

Damn, I'm sure Will wouldn't agree with that. He's the reason I have J-stock setup on my E30 M3. Those guys are legit.
Granted, ECS now owns most of the old school outlets but bimmerworld (who are the best IMO).
Not to mention they (bw&turner) field cars in motorsport...

Completely reasonable.

I'm not American so I only know so much. Dinan has had a strong presence on most cars that I've owned, so I probably have a huge bias.

I only know Turner Motorsport from when I outsource rare/out of production parts. It's a great shop, don't get me wrong. Just not a brand name I'd like to be plastered at the center of the engine bay, that's all

I believe similarly happens with AC Schnitzer, they have a stronger presence overseas than in USA.

I like how it matches the CF in the engine bay as well.

I just wanted to let you guys know I just had a shockingly terrible experience with Turner's chat rep. I contacted them to let them know my tax rate was calculating incorrectly and gave them my 9 digit zip code. I live outside the city limits and my 5 digit zip has multiple tax rates in it. Rep dropped a screenshot of the 5 digit zip and said my tax rate is double what it is and then disconnected. I could not believe that.
While the person may not represent everyone at Turner, it is the person they are paying to represent them to their customers. I will be saving my $1000 and going with a different intake in the future.

Call their customer service. Chat representative sometimes is not as helpful as grabbing your phone and walking through with one of their sales reps.

Tried getting some audio of the Turner Motorsport Intakes but the exhaust is overpowering. Had some fun trying though!

SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i noticed that you're running stock dme (no tune)... since you have catless dp wouldn't that mean your car always has the CEL on? is it just annoying with the light on or does it affect the car (reliability/performance)?
