The MPE is an over price system that has unrealistic market price.
For sure the system sound good, but nevertheless less you purchase a titanium exhaust for almost the same price.
I would personally go in the direction of Lightweight.

Put my money down on the Model 3 as well. Can't wait to see what it can do.

Personally i feel MPE sucks for that price, i rather get Akrapovic or even Remus sounds better.

I guess you didn't visit E46Fanatics?
People have bought aftermarket parts for their cars as long as cars have been on earth. The only difference now is that BMW has entered the aftermarket game.

Are you planning to go to the BMW 100th anniversary event at Laguna?
It's mid-August. BMWCCA Oktoberfest etc.
You'd be one of the cool guys if you bring your M2 !!
I'll be there with my 1M!

I love both exhausts. Stock has a distinct rumble and MPE amplifies the turbo spool in a lovely way! My only gripe on the MPE is the remote control. Should have been integrated with the sport/sport+ settings. That's how it is with the stock exhaust right? Will that be eliminated or how would it work? Maybe the remote opens it further and you would have 3 settings?

That's not my car. Mine is an MG 6MT (collecting it late April or early May) and features some M Performance goodies.

The Bluetooth device serves to toggle between "Sport Mode" (normal) and "Track Mode" (loud).

Two additional videos of an AW M2 with MPE.

I'm assuming it's the Bluetooth device that is creating the track mode sound? But do we know how? How is it accomplishing that?

Push the button of the Bluetooth remote to send a signal to the exhaust valve to toggle between sport mode (closed) and track mode (open). That's all.

Same goes for some Akrapovič exhausts: push to toggle.

Does anyone know the outer diameter of the MPE exhaust where the tips mount? We may be able to offer a more affordable tip solution.

That would be awesome! Someone help the man!

It should be the same as the M3/4 MPE as they share the same tips.

So if I've ordered the M performance exhaust on my M2, it comes with this little bluetooth remote?
