Weird noise coming from my M2 Competition (solved: rear diff was slipping)

I recently bought my M2 with 10k miles on it. The car is a DCT. I noticed this sound when going low speeds in first gear about to change to second. I am able to recreate the sound when I go uphill. The sound is like metal parts/ brushing against each other/ hitting each other, I have attached the two videos if they help:

Anyone knows what the problem is:

Wow, that sucks. I guess it's better than needing a new transmission though. These diffs seem to go bad a lot more often than they should. The old E46 / E92 GKN diffs seemed to be more robust.

The clutch plates in the active diff can wear out, just like a transmission clutch.

Yes but they're not in the drive line, that's solid gearing.

The diff clutches are for locking control not drive torque like a transmission clutch.

So the OPs problem at low speed 1st gear won't be related to locking action as clutches will be fully open.
