Orbit is a bit lighter, and has very little reflection. It's not matte as BMW says it is, it's actually satin. I think they'd be fantastic in semi-gloss as well, but maybe not mean enough for the CS cars, which is what BMW was going for with that finish. It's actually a very hard balance to strike, not too light, not too dark, not too dull, not too shiny. I finally just gave up and bought a different set altogether

Walking away, walking towards, sitting on my porch, standing near my front window…I'm basically looking at my car anytime it's within my line of site

I still peek my head into the garage and go, WHOA!
F87 is truly a special car.

For me, this goes back forever, not just with the M2. I used to always look back at my yellow 2005 Mustang. Same with the 2015 M235i and 2018 Camaro 2SS 1LE. And now with the M2C. Goes without saying. I used to play another game and look around the parking lot to see which cars I'd rather have than mine. Right now with the M2C, there are typically none. Maybe if I saw a Cadillac Blackwing with a manual (even then I'm not sure I would trade for one straight up), but honestly there aren't a lot of cars I'd rather have right now.

^I like to play that game too wjones14 when I go get groceries or golfing. TBH, as a realistic single car garage proposition I can honestly say I cannot remember spotting something I'd immediately swap for. Two car garage (or ignore parts of reality pick) sure, saw an RS6 a while back that would be awesome and a McLaren 570s. Anyhoo...

Oh yes, I look back. And I get a little endorphin hit every time I do. It's such an easy way to put a smile on my face as I walk through the parking lot.

It's impossible not to.
Sometimes I can't help but take a picture. Here are some of the car just looking naturally good. All of these were just on normal day to day errands and things (except for the one with an econolodge in the background lol - that was during a several hundred mile trip during break in period. Fun memories) |

I do, all the time, even when it's sitting in my driveway.
In fact, I had an opportunity to buy a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing at MSRP and spec it exactly as I wanted. I just couldn't bring myself to part with the M2C because I LOVE the way it looks. |

It's the last thing I do before turning in for the night. I poke my head in the garage, turn on the lights, take a look, and then head to bed. From the very beginning, this car has appealed to me in both performance and design, and I see myself keeping it for a very long time. Pleasant dreams everyone.

I like seeing other people walk past my M2 and then turn back look at it. Sometimes multiple times.
And I too look back...of course, C'mon.

The only thing better than looking back to steal one last look is parking where you can see it like your pic. A cafe or restaurant immediately moves up a notch. |
