Do you "look back" when walking away from your car?
I drove into the office today and as I was walking away from my parked car I must have looked back at it 3 times. Is that not ridiculous?? Do you guys do the same thing? What about owners that have owned their car for awhile now?

A petrolhead statement used to say "if you park your car, and don't look back ... you've probably chosen the wrong car".
So yes And sometimes even doing photos of it ! Crazy huh |

Yes, every time, but each time it might be for a different reason. Sometimes it's just to admire it, but a lot of times it's to see if there is anything I'd change about the car (lower, different wheels, wider tires, hood, spoiler, front lip, etc.). I find that a lot of little glances gives me a better idea of what visual course to take rather than simply staring at the car for an hour one day.
I also really like how different the color looks in different lighting. I'm a photographer by trade, so capturing the "essence" of the car is something I'm always keen on doing, and that has to do with light. I've taken thousands of pix in the 2 years I've had the car, but I don't think I've quite captured it yet. I think the shot below, although just a snap in my driveway, is pretty close. Oh, and sorry, it's not a Comp. |

I look back 2 to 3 times, every time its parked and I walk away. Its such an eye pleasing design. So glad I got one during the final year of design for this version. I hope I can keep it for a very long time.
Not only do I look back, but I have the pleasure of having an office with a huge window that has direct line of sight with my parking spot and I can be caught peeping through the blinds at the car a few times throughout the day as well. Its been killing me having the car in the shop. I just want this thing sorted like a new car should be so I can get it back and stare at it some more. lol |

Absolutely! I even go in the garage just to look at it and tuck it in for the night like it’s one of my kids.
I saw a M2C owner by me last week going in to a coffee shop and I caught him doing the “look back”. So I pulled around and shouted out the window and introduced myself. I could tell he had the same problem we all have so he had to be a good dude. Turns out he is also a CCA member. |

By the way Foggins, you get 10 demerits for not parking at the absolute back of the parking lot in a corner against a curb where no one can park next to you!!

Every time, and many times. Sometimes I'll even pop my head in the garage at home and sneak a peek. I know, I need help

I hate when I do that and still come out to someone parked right next to me...

Every time. I also peek my head in the garage sometimes to look at it. Hell, once in a blue moon on a weekend night, i'll go down to the garage get in it, turn on some tunes and smoke a little bit of weed in there. Love that car, even when i'm not driving it.

My "look back" view from my office window. Pre-CS wing install. And yes, that is a napkin covering the infotainment screen to shelter it from the sun.
I avoid that shady area becuase my parking is literally directly under the jet landing flight path of the airport and when large jets fly over (maybe 150 feet or so up) their jet streams knock branches out of the trees onto the cars below. Pretty much happens every day. |

Yes. To the point I've sometimes walked into people and inanimate objects.
