Wheel Clearance Issue (rocks / stones)

Hi im relatively new to the forum and the M2C is my second m car I have owned, I sold my 1M and ordered the M2C

Love the new car and I ordered the big brakes, 3-5 days of using the new car I got small stones stuck between the wheel and brake Caliper and makes rough marks in the rim and the calipers on both sides in the front..

I understand this was a problem on the M3 M4 Carbon Ceramic Brakes also :/

someone else with the same problem?

Hmm never thought of this being a problem, I've never had brakes with this little clearence lol
I was going to suggest PPF the inner barrel but I don't think that'd do so hot with the heat.

When my shop went to change to winter tires they noticed my left front rim had been scraping against the caliper. There are scratches on both sides of the caliper and all the way around the rim.

I argued that it couldn't be rocks/debris getting stuck in there (my car only had 300km on it at the time) because if that was the case the caliper wouldn't be scratched the whole way around. My dealer has ordered me a new caliper and wheel.

By the way: I have the big brakes with the standard M2 wheels, not the competition wheels.

I have never had this issue on a performance car before (E46 M3, M240i, various Porsches, etc.) although this is the car with the smallest clearance for brakes that I've ever seen.

Looks like all of us with BBKs might have the same issue as M3/4 CCB owners. What is worse is the 763M is going to be way more visible. Sigh
