My SA gave me the option of converting my euro delivery to US delivery, while maintaining the same discount, which was neat.

But then the factory shut down, so the build date went to unscheduled, and instead of wait 4 months for it to be built and shipped, a bimmerpost forum member found me a car in stock, and helped me negotiate a 10% off msrp price. So I bought it, and it's being transported to me now, should arrive in a few days. I really wanted euro delivery, but I also wanted to have the car for this summer as well.

Thanks BigKutta!!!

For sure that's the only way to have a car by the summer. I'm just waiting for my dealer to figure out how to sell cars virtually (the issue being the stack of documents you need to sign). As of last Wednesday, you can get your car serviced but you can only drop off the car, no clients in the dealership.

I know, I proposed them a few options. Doesn't seem that complicated to me... I was told I would have some news today/tomrrow.

I ended up cancelling my ED (that was probably never going to happen ). The local dealer I had my ED with had a car transported here from out of state and still gave a reasonable discount + my trade in.

Hopefully picking it up today or tomorrow!

Just got a call from my SA, delivery this Friday. Sweet! The sales department is still technically closed, but the service is open so they can actually prep the car. SA sent me some pics as well. Finally!!!! Ordered the car in December

Wow you ordered this in December and just got it now?! Shipping to Canada does take awhile. My dealer said it takes 6-8 weeks to the US Northeast.

Really thought you would have gotten it at the end of Feb

Actually the car arrived late Feb at the port. Delayed because of protests blocking the rail ways or something, then I was traveling, then I had to self isolate for 2 weeks, then the dealership closed per government regulations... anyways...

Got mine yesterday! So happy the wait is finally over.

The car the local dealer ended up getting for me had the projectors already on- for some reason I thought it would be the roundel but I like this!

My sales guy reached out on Saturday and said BMW had bumped my delivery day back to June 23rd. I told him I couldn't make that work and wanted to know if they'd be flexible and push me to August/September. I figured it was a long shot but worth the ask. BMW came back and asked for dates in August that we could make work, which I provided. Awaiting approval now... so maybe since its an odd year they are willing to be flexible with people?
Interesting. I'm in the same spot. Production number still shows my M2C as scheduled.

My ED is May 26th so I assume I'm bumping it out. Mid to late August would be ideal for me.

I'll call the genius line tomorrow.

Just wondering how btfo I am. The local place has a 2020 m2c with 3k miles listed for like 57k but they wont CPO and wont budge on the price right now plus the single salesman they currently have working does not seem interested in responding to emails

I am figuring the euro delivery will never happen, I am getting increasingly worried that even a normal order wont happen at this point. I dont want to get my deposit back yet in the off chance that the build gets accepted when the factories reopen but I don't enjoy the suspense here.

any thoughts?
I'll help if I can. You live in NC correct?

I work for BMW and can locate M2's for you on the Eastern Seaboard that are in stock.

I don't want to sell it to you, just want to try to help.

Please send me the build you are looking for and I'll quickly hit the locater for you...

Getting mine later today. Nice and sunny today as well. I hate taking delivery of a car on a rainy day.

My ED was May 26th. Not a peep from the dealer yet. My 530e lease is up in August so I have some time. Should I wait and get the delivery as a 2021 M2C? I'm guessing that Euro Delivery is out at this point for any time in 2020.

Black Sapphire
Manual transmission
Executive package
Silver wheels not black
No sunroof
Blur interior stitching.
Any stateside 2020's this spec and available?

Same here - they gave me the same date as you - June 23rd. I asked for late August. No word yet
