Good/Bad experiences with service and LA dealers?

Looking to take in my car for a break in service in the LA area, looking for some feedback on the experiences people have had and who their service advisors are. I likely will just take it to Steve Thomas BMW but Camarillo is a bit far for me. Anyone have experience/take their cars to dealers closer to Venice/Playa Vista/Santa Monica area? Thanks.

are you modded? Charlie@McKennaBMWService would be your go-to even if you're not. he's active on the forums. Not too far out for you if you were already considering Camarillo

Anyone heard from him recently? Sent him an email last week but haven't heard back...

Charlie is the go-to though!

Charlie was definitely one of the best but as far as I know, he’s no longer working at BMW.

You sure? I know he left in the past to go to a Porsche dealership but then he came back to South Bay...

::: Update - ugh - just found him on LinkedIn - looks like he went to Honda in April - DOH! Anybody else have a solid Service Manager?
