Seems like you can run a variety of "personalities" with the CS depending on what you want out of it, or how you drive it.
The M2C is super tidy and very controllable, communicative. It rewards smooth inputs that allow you to put it right on the limit and hold it there, etc; at the same time if you want to play rough, lose time through a lap and throw the tail out, it's very easy and controllable. This is on RE71Rs I have for autox/track, but here's an example of both extremes from a few months ago at the proving grounds autocross. I love this car.

Supposed to be July and August at latest.

I've finally decided to go black with gold wheels after much debate and wanting to love Misano blue. I just can't sem to get on board. I think the black is stellar with black wheels and sold wheels. I need a bit of flare, so going with gold. I figure I could always change the gold color, but it might be more difficult to go the other direction.

Why do think this is your officially unofficial color choices? 🤣🤣🤣

Interesting that the OP in link you referenced expected PS4S and got PSS. Not the end of the world, but I definitely prefer PS4S over PSS

I just wanted to troll you into a response I'm tired of changing my mind. Ok, so wheel color may not be set, but pretty set on black. I think the tire selection is pretty clear about the PSS or cup2. I'm definitely getting a set of cup2s with the car and probably ordering a set of PS4S to go on when it arrives. Yes, I am that guy who would order a new set of tires just to be able to play with the Michelin track connect. Once the novelty wears off just stick with the PS4S

I actually might see about playing with tire pressure in colder weather to see how they heat up.

HS with black wheels would be my choice if I decided to replace my M2C with the CS. I know there's a lot of HS out there, but I absolutely love the color. And as my daily Golf R is black, I really really don't want another black car haha I love how it looks for about 3-5 minutes after a wash

Howdy, I've just signed up having booked in for an M2cs here in HK to check out the lay of the land.
Wow. I've learnt a lot about buying to sell; porsches; bmw diy and cow udders!
So for my first post here I can peg some Hong Kong m2cs numbers your way:

HK allocation (according to my sales fella) : 5
HK price : 1498000 hkd (790930 ex tax)

All HK m's are Euro-spec as far as I know.

Yep Euro-spec with RHD and no OPF

Wow, that's approximately 200,000 USD?
AU price is : $160,000 (incl tax/on road) AUD (approx 110,000 USD).

Looks like we actually get it pretty good over here in comparison

elitt13, in the past, BMW M testdriver Jörg Weidinger lapped The Ring in 07:50 with an M2 Competition. I know that it was reported that Haecker has recently said "8 seconds faster than the M2C" (actually, that piece of information was already leaked in a Belgian video during launch in November 2019). So then it must be 07:42 for the M2 CS on Cup2 tires. Sure that Haecker mentioned "07:44" ?

And as commented earlier, M2C & M2 CS on Michelin PSS will definitely be slower around the Nürburgring in dry conditions than an M2C & M2 CS on Michelin Cup2's or PS4S with the same driver.

See post #2202 of this thread.

Original M2 test mule pushed at dusk at the Nürburgring (Wehrseifen section) - Spring 2015 test sessions:

I like what they did with the bonnet(hood) for the M2CS.

The lines really suit the car.

But it's sooo much more fun to troll with it being a spun crank hub. Any word if it was a closed to public track day? Like you say. Could be a pristine example for press photos, but that seems like an enclosed trailer would be better suited.

I believe I am finally at peace with choosing a color and I landed on black. Gold wheels and red calipers are likely options.
