What's ECE?
In this case ECE means production for Europe ends 9/2020.

S58 sounds about the same as the S55.
So don't get your hopes up.

I second that - guys a legend when it comes to "leaks" being correct or not.

Question remains though: Get the CS or wait for the CSL if there ever is one?

I guess, follows the formula of the M3/4 CS. Although slightly disappointed with the CF slapping on so many different models.

So true! This hate happens every time a newer iteration is released.. It's annoying and illustrates that some folks are after just chasing the "latest and greatest" and not which model of vehicle works best for them...

Let this new model have its moment..

+ $30k premium and an optional $8k brake package.

At least they are offering a manual which will help sales compared to the M4CS.

As DT would rightly say FAKE NEWS POST.

I look forward to BMW launching genuine details.

If I could swing it, I would get one.. They had me at manual

We're blessed to be living in a time in which manufactures have caught up to create vehicles of these capabilities, available to the masses.

Rewind like 20 years ago; even if you had 80k to burn on a vehicle like this, the technology and innovation didn't catch up yet.

450hp for 80k in 1985? LoLing

80k is not a big deal to some people who have it; I been out to dinner with some well-off folks who didn't look twice at a $500 steak, so 80k on a vehicle they like is just the cost of doing business.

And the M2 has a cult following, it will sell.

The M3 CS base price was around $98K. Surely this can't be close to $98K right? If so, I would have to look at a Porsche either GT4 or maybe a 911. I'm hoping for $80K base for M2 CS.

No San Marino Blue for the M2 CS. The body color shown in the render of the first post of this thread is inaccurate.

M2 CS colors:
  • Alpine White
  • Black Sapphire Metallic
  • Hockenheim Silver Metallic
  • Misano Blue Metallic
See the dedicated M2 CS spy pics and videos thread here.

M3 CS if I remember was revealed about 5-6 months before release in May 2018. So hopefully in September or October, we will see the reveal and price.

Even if the bulletin is not official, what are people expecting? This is just about what I would have expected from the M2CS before this post:

Carbon hood/roof
S55 without the detune
MP exhaust
763M wheels
A bunch of carbon cosmetic doodads
A bunch of alcantara in the interior

Anyway, I'm just celebrating the fact that this thing will be available with a MT...
