M2 CS Racing Wing

Does anyone have a part number for the M2 CS Racing wing? Or know/guess when it will be available to buy?

Admittedly boy-racer-y for some people's taste, but I think it could add good downforce and give a street M2 an aggressive look, similar to the Alfa GTA M and its wing. Maybe have the uprights painted body color (LBB in my case).

Maybe we need the m2cs racing trunk too for the fixing points and reinforcement welds underneath, dunno if we can simply drill the trunk and mount.

But the m2cs racing trunk has a hole for the airjack to go in where the license plate goes, so I dunno.

In on this though!

I'd rather have the DTM wing.

A little too much for the old man in me I guess

I thought I'm the only one who likes the CS Racing wing I think it is the best looking option for more downforce especially if you track your car. I hope that it becomes available for none-racing cars.

Almost 4K with the bootlid which is probably pretty necessary to make it actually functional

I wouldn't say necessary. You could have someone weld in additional support under the OEM lid.

That said, an extra $1000 for a predrilled lid isnt bad.

How much downforce do you think it can generate? The wing is pretty low though.

The wing definitely does. It is used on the M2CS Racing, which is improved from the 240iR wing which you can easily find the downforce numbers for. The wing is also adjustable for your preferred downforce/resistance as it has multiple screw holes to use on the rear bolts.

Appreciate the response and thought that logically it would just couldn't find much data on it but good point about the older version!

Now just need to decide if I'm doing the gloss black side mounts or paint match them to LBB. 🤔
