Why all MY2020? M2C has already moved on to MY2021.

I was told 6 weeks from start of production to delivery with deliveries taking place Nov and Dec. If you use Nov1 as a start of delivery, then production for US cars would have to start mid September. I believe there is a holiday shutdown in October. That would put all allocations coming out early September, or they come out on a rolling basis where dealerships are notified at the time of their production slot.

South Africa is supposed to take delivery of their 30 cars the end of December. Those are RHD models. Built already, maybe? Produced after US production? I can't imagine they flip flop RHD/LHD production?
Australia is RHD, probably same spec as South Africa, Japan etc and these are being built in October.
I was told end of Jan delivery for Australia

That's fairly accurate, considering the boat to Australia takes roughly 6-8 weeks and a further 1-2 weeks for customs clearance and dealer delivery/registration.

Car realistically is on the production line for 2-3 weeks.

They must be swimming over, my guess is they are doing bufferfly so they need a breather every 50m

Guatemala schedule production week 39, delivery end of December. There will be only 18 cars for all Latin America (Not including Brazil) and the Caribbean.

I'm in Australia which is another right-hand drive nation like South Africa.

My build-date is October 12th I'm told. I imagine all RHD cars would be built in the same run. Although, oddly enough, there are supposedly 12/70 already delivered to Australian buyers - these were built in April. The remaining 58 are all being manufactured in October.

Europe
That can't be accurate. S55 engine fails EU emission regulation which comes in effect 2021. CS or no CS.
The new European emission laws, I believe, begin September first which mean S55 M2CS can not be produced for the EU market after August 31, 2020

However many they get out by August 31st for Europe is the sole determinant of how many (if not 2200) would be manufactured altogether

You're on to something here. If the factory closures meant all RH drive production was to happen at the end of the year starting October, then none have likely made it to Australia as yet.

I'm guessing there wouldn't be that many RH drive cars from the 2200; maybe 700 globally?

UK are getting theirs already. Only 104 cars which is bizarre being the world's 3rd biggest M market. But they have the OPF spec. Boo.

Next biggest would be Aus with 70 and Japan with 60. I think it was 30 for South Africa? N.Z., will probably get 1 real one and two cardboard cutouts. Singapore will probably get 2, each priced at $3 billion dollars. There is one in Cyprus which can be seen on this forum already. You'd thing a few will make it to Hong Kong so they can be featured in an expensive car park in some YouTuber's video. Probably a couple more in India. And a couple in Malaysia.

So really not many RHD ones. Maybe 300 max?

2200 seems like a healthy number for a limited edition model.

Hopefully values don't tank like the M4GTS where 700 was too many...

It also depends on how many are sent to each region. They can make 10000, but if your region only gets 10??? Im guessing it impacts collectible appreciation, but shouldn't impact local value retention.

I love your take on NZ & Singapore

If it's 300, even better. That would mean close to 15% of the total.

I'm not in a position to buy new unfortunately right now so very anxious to see how prices hold the first year on this car compared to for example 1 year old M4CS cars with under 10k miles already trading in mid 70s or $35 k off MSRP.
