Undine Car Carrier departs Bremerhaven Oct 18

My M2C is scheduled to be loaded onto the Undine Vehicle Carrier which is currently sailing through the English Channel headed for Bremerhaven with an ETA of October 17th.

Fun fact: The Undine Vehicle Carrier was the first ship to utilize a Fuel Cell for partial power.

I will be in this ship too. I dropped of my car at Frankfurt and the shipping company said it will be on this vessel. They told me October 18 will be leaving Bremerhaven. They also said it will arrive at port in California November 16.

To be honest I want the ship delayed I have a vacation plan in November and my flight leaves November 16! 😭😭

Where is your M2c going?

Hopefully it takes awhile for your car to reach the dealer. Personally I would call the dealership and tell them to not drive the car!
I was able to get some detailed tracking numbers from BLG to plug into this website https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage
So far it can't track the ship. I assume it has to be already in Bremerhaven preparing for the next voyage for the data to register in the system.

Well my dealer is less than an hour away from the port. So it shouldn’t take too long to get there. Where is your dealer?

Were you on European Delivery?

Yes, I did a European Delivery. My car will be unloaded at Port Hueneme. Hopefully the Vehicle Distribution Center process is quick. I went on a tour there earlier this year so I know what it's in for. My car will be briefly in SB and then on to SD.

Oh sweet. I did not know you can do a tour there. How was it? Do they take care of the vehicles well there?

My Dealer mentioned that they might do the oil change there before transporting it to the dealer. Not sure if its done at the VDC or dealer?

I wouldn't hold your breath. Mine arrived on 9/19 and didn't hit the dealership until 10/4 (and my dealership was a few miles from port). Course one dude over on the F80 forums who's M3 was on the same ship got his on 9/28 in San Diego, so who knows. ED cars are supposedly the lowest priority. Good luck!

Yeah, the tour was with the BMW CCA (Dorkfest chapter). It was really cool. Apparently that group organizes a tour every 2 years. It was about 3-4 hours long with lots of BMW shop gifts given away.

The vehicles seem to be taken care of. If they find some cosmetic damage from shipping or there is some kind of recall it will delay the process.

I had my car's oil changed in Europe since I ended up with 2,798 miles at drop-off. I can't wait to get my hands on it again and start up a coding session.

The Undine is now anchored outside of Bremerhaven. I assume that it is waiting for its docking slot.

Hear ye hear ye, the Undine has left the stable! It's due in Belgium on the 20th.

I hope they strapped it down good!

How do you figure out if your car has made it on the ship? The form is not very intuitive for searching...

Not sure. I will double check with shipping company.

If that's the case I highly doubt the schedulued ETA of November 16 at Port Hueneme the.

False alarm, I read the table wrong. It is on schedule.
